SELAH: The Psalms Project

Selah. The word is spread throughout the Psalms and the greatest thing about it is that no one really knows what it means. It's meaning, as a musical notation or a direction for the worshippers, has been lost over the centuries.

For Community Comics, we've adopted that word for our latest group project, SELAH: The Psalms Project.

Here you will find artistic representations and illuminations of the Psalms, done by artists who have given their hearts to Christ. Taking the text of the Psalms -- universally agreed to be some of the greatest poetry on earth -- the artists were challenged to create artwork that was created as a work of worship for our Creator.

We hope you enjoy reading through the Psalms and that they will speak to you in a new way, that they will cause you to pause and reflect, and that they will draw you into worship with us.
